The Cruzados are celebrating over 40 years of high energy blues-infused rock and roll.
The band's story dates back to the early LA punk days when founding members were known as the Plugz who scored the cult classic film REPO MAN. The Cruzados were later signed to Arista Records in 1985 by Clive Davis and produced two albums with hit songs including "Motorcycle Girl" and "Bed of Lies" which were in rotation with videos featured on MTV and VH1, and reached Billboard charts in the top 10.
The Cruzados have been featured on television and in films such as Desperado, From Dusk Til Dawn, and Road House, among many others. Guest musicians who have performed on Cruzados tracks include Bob Dylan, Paul Butterfield, John Doe, Dave Alvin, David Hidalgo, Pat Benatar, Don Henley, and Waddy Wachtel.
The Cruzados toured the world in support of bands Fleetwood Mac, INXS, The Alarm, Joe Walsh, Billy Idol, among others, with many highlights including Farm Aid III during the course of the band's history. The band's founding member and bassist Tony Marsico has also played with artists Roger Daltrey, Marianne Faithful, Neil Young, Joe Ely, and Bob Dylan, among others.
Most recent Cruzados' recordings have been featured on Sirius XM radio shows including Little Steven's Underground Garage and The Coolest Songs in the World.
The Cruzados toured Europe the past few years in support of their album "She's Automatic" on DEKO Entertainment and the Rum Bar Records EP “Land of the Endless Sun” and kick off the 2026 tour with THE BEST OF CRUZADOS on Rum Bar Records this Spring.
